There are so many potential buyers who cannot visualize how the space might suit them or who cannot see the potential of a room or house. So...you need to give them all the help you can. De-clutter, de-personalize, keep areas bright, cheery. Clean the bathrooms really good :0) Store any extra stuff you can out of sight...
We need some growing room too so pass on the tips you learn. I hear the less furniture in a room, the better is 'shows'.
Thanks for the tips! Our realtor is coming Friday.
The realtor that sold the house across the street from us sold it in less than a month. Pretty good for a soft market. Bummer, though - I would have asked you to be my neighbor! Of course, this same realtor has my mom's house and has not even SHOWN it in a month. =(
However, they have had lots of interruptions - in fact my stepdad is in the hospital right now.
I hope everything goes smoothly for you and that you find the perfect house for your family to make a home!
I wrote a new post over at Weekend Kindness for you called 5 Tips for Selling Your House. Check it out!
Patience, patience, and a little more patience. Good luck!
Declutter/downsize, especially in closets. Hope it goes well.
